Product and licence
Tape Music Suite is proprietary software for managing and streaming your own music library. Your licence covers use of the original application binaries on supported devices, with one active desktop hub binding at a time. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or unpack the application to derive its source code, except where mandatory law permits it. Separately licensed components, open-source modules and third-party notices keep their own terms: the open-source components listed in the application under Open source licenses remain under their own licences, including the LGPL right to modify those components and to reverse engineer the application to the extent needed to debug such modifications. Rights granted with earlier copies are not withdrawn. Mandatory rights, including applicable interoperability exceptions, remain unaffected.
Plans, modules and previous purchases
V1 is a one-time licence for the V1 product line and its patch and minor updates. V1 PRO adds the PRO package. Lifetime includes every current and future module and all future updates, including major versions. Modules may also be purchased separately; the PRO package supplements an existing V1 licence. Your order identifies the plan and modules purchased. Previous purchases retain their existing rights, including pre-0.5.0 grandfathering. No new monthly or instalment plans are offered by this checkout; existing agreements keep their terms.
Before purchase
Check supported operating systems, current platform availability, included modules and technical requirements before paying. Your desktop hub must remain on and reachable for streaming. Remote routes, metadata providers, licence activation and software distribution use internet services. Activation binds your licence to a hub; contact support for a device transfer or recovery. Signed module grants can operate offline for up to 60 days after the last successful server validation, subject to their validity.
Prices and delivery
The order and final checkout show currency, applicable tax, discounts and the total payable. Access is delivered after payment confirmation by email with your licence or module details. Keep your order confirmation and recovery link private. Contact support if delivery fails; do not pay again to recover the same purchase. Availability of external services may change, without removing mandatory remedies or rights already purchased.
Withdrawal and refunds
This checkout does not ask you to waive withdrawal because access begins immediately. Consumers may request withdrawal within 14 days of the contract; any longer or additional mandatory rights remain available. Use the withdrawal function on this website or contact the seller with your order reference and decision. We acknowledge receipt by email. Refunds, including their timing and method, follow applicable law. Defect remedies and commercial refunds are distinct from withdrawal. Returning an upgrade does not remove unrelated rights you continue to own.
Conformity, support and updates
Mandatory consumer guarantees, conformity remedies and necessary updates are not excluded by these terms. If paid software does not conform to the contract, contact support; correction, price reduction or termination/refund applies as required by law. Plan update rights do not replace statutory security or conformity obligations. Changes to a paid service must respect applicable notice, remedy and termination rights. Existing lifetime and other purchased commitments remain binding.
Your files, sharing and permitted use
You must have the rights needed to use or share music and artwork. A Tape licence does not license recordings or grant public-performance or distribution rights. Share only with authorised recipients and within your rights. Sharing is scoped to selected items; revocation prevents future authorised access but cannot retrieve copies already lawfully downloaded outside your control. Tag writing, duplicate resolution and other explicit file-management actions can change your files; review confirmations and maintain backups.
Security and suspension
Do not attack systems, distribute malware, misuse recovery links or bypass licence and access controls. A security report is not itself a revocation decision. Support reviews suspected abuse, including false positives. Suspension or termination must have a valid contractual or legal basis and respect mandatory law. Contact support to contest an error. Liability restrictions never exclude liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Contact, applicable law and changes
Contact the identified seller for support, complaints, withdrawal and licence recovery. Mandatory protections and jurisdiction rights in the consumer’s country remain applicable. Changes to these terms apply prospectively and cannot silently reduce existing purchased rights. Your saved order records the version accepted. These terms do not claim certification, regulatory approval or rights over third-party components.
