Your choice
Tape Music Suite uses optional analytics to understand visits, navigation and purchase flows. In Europe, and whenever we cannot reliably determine your region, analytics stays off until you accept. In other regions, it is on by default unless you reject or disable it. We also keep analytics off when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. Your choice does not affect downloads, purchasing or access to the site. Advertising storage, personalised advertising and Google Signals are disabled.
opens the preference centre, where you can reject all optional analytics, keep only essential storage, or accept analytics. You can change your choice at any time. Rejecting removes our first-party Google analytics cookies and, if analytics was already loaded, reloads the page to stop its scripts. Withdrawal does not undo processing that took place before withdrawal.
Cookies and similar storage
| Storage | Purpose / provider | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| mh_analytics_consent_v2 (local storage) | Tape remembers acceptance or refusal, its date and policy version. Necessary to respect your choice; no analytics identifier. | Up to one year; a changed consent version requires a new choice. |
| _ga and _ga_* (cookies) | Google Analytics 4 measures browser visits, sessions and engagement. In regions requiring consent, these are set only after acceptance; elsewhere, they may be set by default until you opt out. | Up to one year from the latest use; removed on rejection or withdrawal. |
Google Tag Manager loads the analytics configuration only when your saved choice or regional default allows analytics. It is not a separate permission for advertising or additional tracking. We do not load analytics on recovery, invitation or license-reset routes. We measure only the checkout success and cancellation outcomes; URLs exclude query strings and fragments, including Stripe session IDs.
Data and providers
When analytics is enabled by your saved choice or regional default, Google may process technical data such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, public page paths, session identifiers and engagement or purchase events. We do not send music files or library contents to website analytics. Google may process data outside the EEA under its applicable data-transfer arrangements. Read Google’s privacy policy and our privacy policy.
Other services and browser controls
Stripe operates its own payment page and may use cookies needed for payment or fraud prevention there. External stores and community sites apply their own policies when you visit them. These are not enabled by accepting Tape analytics. You can also remove or block cookies and local storage in your browser. If we cannot read or save a valid analytics preference, analytics stays off. Old accept-only preferences are no longer treated as consent. Where available, the site uses Vercel’s region header and does not store your country or region for this decision.
