Buy lifetime founding

Best fit if you already know you want the final remote unlock.

Access & Setup

1. Choose your offer

  • Beta Access Pass: remote beta until 30 September 2026, upgrade path later.
  • Remote Lifetime Founding: final remote license now at $149 before the standard $189 offer.

2. Download the Mac app

Paid buyers land on the access handoff page after Stripe and also get a recovery link plus license email.

If you already purchased and need the latest build again, use your recovery link. If you lost it, contact support at music-hub@gordo.design.

3. Licensing rules

  • LAN and same-WiFi playback stay available without a paid license.
  • Remote streaming, Tailscale, and public remote access require a valid remote license.
  • Each paid remote license binds to one desktop computer.
  • The Beta Access Pass is temporary and expires on 30 September 2026 or at v1.0.
  • The Beta Access Pass is revocable and does not count as the final commercial license.
  • Remote Lifetime Founding is issued as a final license from day one.
  • "Lifetime" is a one-time remote-tier license for the commercial life of this product, not an eternal legal term or a promise of endless updates or support.
  • Music Hub is licensed as-is; we do not warrant uninterrupted operation or ongoing support.
  • If support or distribution ends, you keep what you already purchased and activated at that scope, without an ongoing hosted-service relationship beyond license validation in the app.
  • Remote Plus monthly is not live yet and is not part of the current launch.

4. Pair the iPhone app

The iPhone app is the companion streaming path for the same desktop library. It is still being delivered through TestFlight during this phase.

  1. Open the iPhone app link
  2. Install the app on your iPhone
  3. Open the desktop hub and show the latest Connect QR
  4. Open the mobile app and tap "Scan QR Code"
  5. Scan the QR code shown in the desktop app
  6. If you are pairing over a public URL, arm pairing first on desktop

Troubleshooting

Mobile app can't find the desktop

  • Verify both devices are on the exact same Wi-Fi for first pairing.
  • Check firewall rules on the Mac.
  • Try manual connection with the desktop IP and port.
  • Restart the desktop app and reopen the QR.

Remote stopped working

  • Check whether the paid remote license is active on this computer.
  • If you are on Beta Access Pass, confirm the beta has not expired.
  • Use Refresh in License settings to force a new validation.
  • If the license was revoked or upgraded, use the newest key from the email or recovery portal.

Desktop app won't start

  • Right-click the app and choose Open to bypass Gatekeeper the first time.
  • Allow the app from System Settings → Privacy & Security.
  • If the app still fails, contact support and include your Mac model and macOS version.
